چکیده

Abstract Hydrosalpinx is a disease characterized by the obstruction of salpinx, with progressive accumulation in shape fluid-filled sac at distal part tuba uterina, and closed to ovary. Women hydrosalpinges have lower implantation pregnancy rates due combination mechanical chemical factors thought disrupt endometrial environment. Evidence suggests that presence hydrosalpinx reduces rate assisted reproductive technology. The main aim present review make an overview possible effects on vitro fertilization (IVF). We conducted literature search PubMed, Ovid MEDLINE, Google Scholar data bases regarding IVF outcomes. probably has direct toxic effect sperm motility embryos. Salpingectomy restores HOXA10; therefore, may be one mechanism tubal removal result improved IVF. salpingectomy does not affect ovarian response, nor antral follicle count. Further studies are needed establish therapeutic value fluid aspiration under ultrasonographic guidance, during or after oocyte retrieval, terms ongoing pregnancy.
